All Purpose Flowers is filled with lush fresh cut flowers, flower arrangements, and plants. We also have a beautiful gift selection, and clothing! Now you can have one stop shopping for that special someone, yourself, or both when in the Magnolia area.
We like to carry unique flowers, as well as traditional. Whether you’d like to grab a quick bouquet for your home, or an elaborate arrangement for an event, we can suit any budget. We have two top designers, Linda and Melodey, who are both trained and experienced. They have fresh and unique artistic approaches, and a wide range of styles they learned with their floral educations and through experience. They love to create and show off their talents.
We have a huge selection of houseplants, including flowering and non flowering, of all sizes. Some of the houseplants currently in stock are bamboos, kalanchoe, orchids, bonsais, succulents, cactus, Boston ferns, and jasmine.
Our gift shop includes handmade wreaths, candles, costume jelwery, handbags, cards, gorgeous home decor, bath and body items, and more.
Our clothing selection is always in season and on trend. You will find really fun and unique pieces to wear, with versatility, and comfort.
All Purpose Flowers believes it is extremely important to practice responsible business practices. We do our best to reduce waste and to be kind to our earth.
One of the ways we do this is by composting with Black Earth Compost. We also source our flowers as much as possible from local organic farms and our own garden when they are in season. We have products for sale that give back to charities, like Honey Belle’s all natural and cruelty free beauty products, Coin Laundry’s adorable Children’s clothes, Spongelle’s all natural cruelty free beauty products, cards from Wrinkle and Crease Paper Products, and candles from Backyard Bee. We also sell products made from local artisans including jewelry from Gloucester resident Lily Johannsen Designs and BeLo the Sea Glass, chocolate from Curly Girl Design, art from local residents Susan Murphy, Joan Keefe, and Ana Guerra, and hand painted items from Gloucester resident Pauline Breanahan. So many of our products for sale are lovingly handmade and made using eco friendly ingredients. We sell unique repurposed gift items that we find at local yard and estate sales. We also will take unwanted vases for repurposing.
It is our goal to do as much good as a business that we can when we can, and to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.
We love what we do, and we love our customers. When you walk through our doors, you will come into a world or plants, flowers, and beautiful gifts. Whether you would like to just take a look around, or are coming in for something specific, we are so happy to have you stop in, and we are there to help with whatever you need.
