Linda Brown is a fully trained florist and is the owner of All Purpose Flowers. Linda’s dream was always to be a florist, and so she started her studies in 1998 at the age of 14, and majored in Floriculture at Essex Agricultural High School. Throughout high school, she competed in local, state, and national Floriculture contests. After graduating from highschool, she continued her love of floriculture by working at flower shops and completing her business degree at Salem State College. A few years after she graduated college, she opened All Purpose Flowers out of her home in Gloucester, MA in 2010. Then In November 2018, Linda’s lifelong dream of opening her own shop right where she grew up in Magnolia came true.
Linda is a passionate florist and loves creating beautiful flower arrangements for her customers. Her goal is to brighten every customer’s day with her flowers. She is a wife and mother of two, a daughter who is 4 years old, and a son who is 1 years old. She enjoys being able to bring her children to work, and you may have the pleasure of meeting them if you stop into the shop.
Melodey is a fresh young florist with a passion for Floriculture. She started working in the industry in August of 2016 in a local floral shop. She went on to enroll at Cass School of Floral Design and completed a professional floral design certification in September of 2017. From there, she worked at Cass the Florist, until she relocated back to Gloucester, her hometown, and is now a top designer at All Purpose Flowers. Melodey creates artistic arrangements with beautiful color combinations and has an amazing attention to detail. She is always excited to assist our customers in making their floral visions come to life.
Marilyn is the shop’s overseer. She looks after the shop and cares for the plants and flowers. She provides amazing customer service and will help you pick out the perfect flower arrangement, gift, or plant to fill whatever your flower and gift shop needs are. When you come into the shop, you will know right away that you are in good hands with Marilyn.
